Ingredients:
- 4 medium apples (any variety)
- Ground cinnamon (optional)
- Sugar or honey (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Apples:
- Wash and core the apples.
- Slice the apples into thin, uniform slices (about 1/8 inch thick). Leave the skin on if you prefer.
Optional Seasoning:
- If desired, lightly sprinkle the apple slices with cinnamon or drizzle with honey for added flavor.
Arrange the Slices:
- Place the apple slices on the trays of your Salton Food Dehydrator in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
Dehydrate:
- Set the Salton Food Dehydrator to 140°F.
- Dehydrate the apple slices for 5 to 7 hours, or until they reach your desired level of crispness.
Cool and Store:
- Let the apple chips cool completely before storing in an airtight container. They can stay fresh and crispy for up to a week or more if stored properly.
