Ingredients:
- Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- Tomato sauce (½ cup)
- Fresh mozzarella (sliced or torn, about 200g)
- Fresh basil leaves (a handful)
- Olive oil (1-2 tbsp)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Salton Pizzadesso: Set your Pizzadesso to high heat for a few minutes, ensuring it reaches the perfect temperature for cooking pizza.
- Roll out the dough: On a floured surface, roll your pizza dough into a thin circle. Once completed transfer the dough off of the floured surface.
- Add the sauce: Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Add the cheese: Scatter slices of fresh mozzarella evenly on top of the sauce.
