Salton's Great Canadian Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1. Salton’s Great Canadian Giveaway (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry (18 years or older).
1.2. Employees, officers, and directors of Salton Appliances (“Salton”), its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each are not eligible to participate.
1.3. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
1.4. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

2. How to Enter

To participate in the Contest, entrants must complete all the following steps:
2.1. Follow @saltongroup on Instagram: Entrants must be following Salton’s official Instagram account (@saltongroup) at the time of the draw to remain eligible.
2.2. Like the Contest Post: Entrants must like the official contest post on Salton’s Instagram page.
2.3. Tag 3 Friends: Entrants must tag three (3) different friends in the comments of the contest post. Each tagged account must be active and legitimate.
2.4. Complete the Entry Form on Salton’s Website: Entrants must fill out the official entry form for the contest, available on Salton’s website.
2.5. Subscribe to Salton’s Email List: Entrants must agree to receive promotional emails from Salton. Entrants can unsubscribe at any time after the contest ends without affecting their eligibility for the contest.

2.6. Bonus Entry

Entrants can receive one (1) additional bonus entry by sharing the contest post to their Instagram Stories and tagging @saltongroup. The shared post must remain visible for a minimum of 24 hours to qualify for the bonus entry.

3. Contest Period

3.1. The Contest begins at 12:00 AM EST on March 31, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM EST on June 23, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).
3.2. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST on June 23, 2025, to be eligible for the random draw. Late entries, incomplete entries, or entries submitted through any other means will not be considered.

4. Winner Selection & Notification

4.1. A random draw will be conducted within 7 days of the Contest closing date. The draw will be conducted by Salton from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
4.2. Selected winners will be contacted via email, using the email address provided on the entry form.
4.3. The selected winners will be required to:

  • Respond to the notification email within 5 business days to confirm acceptance of the prize.

  • Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.

  • Provide valid proof of Canadian residency and age if requested.

4.4. If a selected winner does not respond within the specified time frame, fails to meet the contest requirements, or is otherwise disqualified, another entrant may be selected at Salton’s sole discretion.

5. Prizes

5.1. The prize consists of one or more Salton products (the “Prize”) that are part of the giveaway during the Contest Period. The products will be determined by Salton and may vary throughout the Contest window from March 31, 2025, to June 24, 2025.
5.2. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
5.3. Salton reserves the right to substitute the Prize, in whole or in part, with another of equal or greater value if the advertised Prize becomes unavailable.

6. Privacy and Use of Personal Information

6.1. By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by Salton for the purposes of administering the Contest and prize fulfillment.
6.2. Entrants who subscribe to Salton’s email list agree to receive promotional communications and marketing materials from Salton. Entrants may opt out of receiving these communications at any time by using the “unsubscribe” link included in any email.
6.3. All personal information will be handled in accordance with Salton’s Privacy Policy.

7. General Conditions

7.1. Salton reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if any fraud, technical failure, or other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by Salton in its sole discretion.
7.2. Salton reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Terms and Conditions.
7.3. By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. Salton assumes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website or social media platforms during the Contest Period.
8.2. Salton and its affiliates will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of any Prize awarded.

9. Acknowledgment and Release

9.1. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, all participants release Instagram from any liability related to this Contest.
9.2. Entrants acknowledge that they are providing information to Salton and not to Instagram.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
10.2. Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
